[This is a really silly dream.
It has to be a dream, or so Nepeta convinces herself. Her room in the castle, once lined with walls covered inblood paintings and drawings and charts of shipping, now resembles something of a jungle. She's sitting up on a bed of spotbeast fur that's oh so warm and also incredibly comfortable. Looking up reveals dangling vines and--are those featherbeast chirps she's hearing?
This is very much a dream. What only confirms this is the fact that she's not alone in the bed. Lying beside her is Vriska, sound asleep and oblivious to the sudden jungle they've found themselves in. She looks so peaceful, and almost--almost--innocent... Nepeta isn't sure she has the heart to wake her up. Even if this is just a dream. Which is odd, because she's never had a dream in which someone was asleep during it.
But it's a pretty boring dream without someone to interact with, so she shakes Vriska's shoulder to wake her from her slumber. Here's hoping that dream!Vriska is a lot nicer about being abruptly woken than the real Vriska.]
Hey, hey Vwiskers. Wake up!

Hey, hey Vwiskers. Wake up!

Very funny, Friska.
[She's still dangling half off the bed, resigned to that position.]

[Have a nudge with a foot! A Vriska foot. Right there. On your back.]

I'm just done with the castle right now.
no subject
What happened this time?
no subject
Equius is gone. Again.
no subject
So?
no subject
So it still sucks.
no subject
I got over that shit by now.

[She crawls back to sit closer to Vriska.]
But then he showed up again and I let myself forget that it might not last.
no subject
It happens.

[She curls her fists on the bedding and sighs.]
It's just hard remembering how to deal with it again. For him especially.
no subject
I get it. Moirails are kind of a big deal...
no subject
Yeah, but--it's okay. I mean, it's not, but it's not like being sad or mad will make him come back. I'll manage; I did before. You helped.

[She knows all about losing quadrants, though...]
no subject
And also the fact that no one's about to kill her for not having a quadrant filled is nice, too.]
You're right. I mean, if humans can do it, we definitely can.
no subject
You'll be fine, you dork! [Reluctant nudge.]
no subject
Yeah. I will.
no subject
Ew, don't cry!
no subject
[She points to her eyes, which are wide and a little glossy but there are no tears to be found!]
no subject
gosh nepeta that looks almost HUMAN OF YOUHere, she's pushing you again!]

HEY!
no subject
Hey you!

Fur serious, though. Thanks, Vwiskers.
